The Foundation, under the administration of Bishop Dunne Catholic School, oversees the Lance A. Lemons Memorial Scholarship, created in February 2015. The scholarship is given out each year to a graduating senior at Bishop Dunne Catholic School who exemplifies the same characteristics of Lance.

In addition, the DeSoto High School Class of 2006 oversees the Lance A Lemons Memorial All-American Class Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior at DeSoto High School who holds outstanding characteristics that Lance’s classmates saw in him. The purpose of both scholarships is to help make the transition to their freshman year of college easier.

We would like to acknowledge Travis Cook II and Ezekiel Tyson III, our 2015 and 2016 Bishop Dunne Catholic School recipients of the Lance A. Lemons Memorial Scholarship, as well as, Mia Shaw the 2016 DeSoto High School Lance A. Lemons Memorial All-American Class Scholarship recipient. The Foundation wishes them many blessings in the future.
